The series “miteinander gegenüber” juxtaposes artworks of different epochs, formats, styles and contents under a thematic question. In the fall of 2021, Joseph Beuys’ “7000 Eichen” (1982-1987) will meet the video and sound works “Abschied (Harz)” (2020) and “Vom Walde” (2020) by Andreas Greiner (*1979). This constellation raises central questions about the relationship between man, nature and technology.
The exhibition series is produced in cooperation with the Collaborative Research Center (SFB) 1288 “Practices of Comparison. Ordering and Changing the World” at Bielefeld University.
